Mona Lisa Ristorante

 

One of Winnipeg's premiere Italian restaurants, Mona Lisa Ristorante, 1697 Corydon, is a huge supporter of the local art scene. The walls of their very tastefully decorated dining rooms are adorned with rotating displays of art created by local artists. This allows local artists such as myself the opportunity to have their work seen by a large number of people in a very relaxed and comfortable setting. Diners get to enjoy a sumptuous meal, as well as the opportunity to spend some quality time with the art. This often results in a connection being established between the viewer and the painting, something which might not otherwise have a chance to develop in a typical gallery setting.

 

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to have my work displayed there as part of their rotating stable of artists since 2010. I am very proud to say that my work is gracing their walls once again, and will be on display for December 2014 and January 2015.  I have 24 pieces on display, all original acrylic on canvas, and all available for sale, with very reasonable prices ranging from $200 to $750.
